On Wednesday 15th of March, our Year 3 students attended their first excursion of 2017. Their destination was Taskworks in Mulgrave. Good Shepherd has been visiting Taskworks for several years now as we believe it helps to foster valuable teamwork and problem solving skills and strategies. Children undertake a series of kinaesthetic and interactive challenges that lend themselves to working effectively in a team and listening to peers in order to achieve success. Fun activities included the ‘Cable Maze’, ‘Stomp a Stump’, ‘Pegfast’ and dressing up as various fantasy characters. The children had a fantastic time challenging themselves with the activities and enjoyed the company of their peers. As always, the staff at Taskworks were quick to point out how impressed they were with the way Good Shepherd students conducted themselves and represented the School.
