Community

Volunteers

Good Shepherd has always valued the strong sense of community it has developed. It is one our core values and we are constantly working together to develop a sense of belonging based on acceptance, respect, forgivement and common purpose.

We encourage active involvement of parents. The School's Aims can only be achieved if parents are aware of, and are actively involved in School programs and activities.

Parents can positively assist and support their children and the staff in many ways and are urged to consider in what capacity they may best contribute to their children's education and wellbeing.

Some volunteer opportunities include:

  • Reading helpers
  • Reader's Theatre
  • Library assistance
  • Canteen assistance
  • Excursion helpers
  • Sports events
  • PTFA committee
  • Guest speaker/presenter
  • Community events
